Update regular and DJ about town Alex Moran dons his Weekender guise for some languid groove business via Chris Duckinfield’s Odori stable. The main mix is pure British jazz-funk, slapped bang up-to-date for the ’05, snapping drums and discoid whooshes building the track up alongside some marvellously shimmering keys. The dub version gets much more physical, keeping it basic and letting the beats and seriously throbbing bass get those hips working. Chic and sexy like weekends should be.
