If you like grungy, future funk, Zak Abel ticks all the boxes. Add some George Clinton buzzing basslines, string arrangements worthy of Norman Connors, soul dynamic reminiscent of Jamiroquai circa Deeper Underground and a funky, fresh and fizzy pop feel that files it next to Jungle, Charlie Winston, or even Sam Smith. A breakfast show wake up, a drive time feel good track and an end of the night anthem all rolled into one. A guilty pop pleasure par excellence.
