A bit of a self-serving review here (ahem!), but one track that I genuinely feels needs highlighting to the masses. Australia’s rising duo HP Source land on my own label (HTE), with this extremely unique crossover weapon. Fusing elements of tech trance, hard dance and that classic BXR sound from yesteryear, Ryan & Haydn demonstrate their cheeky side by chopping up humorous vocals into a relentless bed of sirens, square wave synth action and mass hysteria. Already being championed by scene leaders Indecent Noise, Sneijder and Mark Sherry, ‘What U Think?!’ is already well on its way to a speaker stack near you. Out this week and by far the biggest release on HTE Recordings to date! The future most certainly looks very bright for HP Source, having just completed their first series of UK tour dates and labels clambering for a piece of the action.
