If you’re looking for some soulful house in its full glory, look no further. Illustrious producer Albert Sterling Menendez, aka Sterling Ensemble adorns this debut track on Dopewax with short and lush sweet strings that seem to sing just as heavenly as the luscious Sara Devine does on this tune, with her delightfully inviting verses and next world harmonies. These original mixes also contain lively bouncing funky basslines, exemplary piano jazzy keys, 4/4 drums and other essential dance floor percussion. Not the lease of which are also included to some varying degree by one of the genre’s sovereign producers, namely Frankie Feliciano, who brings in a bit more of the snap and rim clicks on the bonus remixes. This is classic soulful house at its finest and another proof to the fact, that Kenny Dope is not only one of the best musicians and DJs out there, but a great label head too.
