Touch of Class is a label run by Los Angeles natives, Michael Tello of PillowTalk and Ray Zuniga. They have made it into a go to outlet for house with real feeling and now they look to an American pair KMLN for their next outing. It is a varied and vital Ep with a remix from Pattern Drama & Nikita that helps seal the deal.
Be Here opens up the EP with a doozy and intoxicating cut that is deep and delicious. It’s a long and winding track with wispy synths and soft, clacking beats and really lulls you into the groove. Various delicate human vocal sounds add an organic feel and overall it is a powerful track. ProNoia is seven minutes of more popping tech with fat bass, old school vocals that make it feel like a big dance floor sermon and slick percussion. Bunzi then goes deep into a sonic jungle with rainforest sounds, weird loops and gluey patterns and shamanic vocals. Sirena is more tribal with lots of meandering synths really getting into your brain and the remix of ProNoia is soupy and elastic, druggy and charming in equal measure. Overall this EP is perfectly steamy and seductive.
