Todd Wills & Sam Menter grew up in the outskirts of Bristol, playing in bands & being influenced by a whole range of artists, including The Clash, Roy Ayers, Bob Dylan & Air. So as the duo Cities Of Foam, expect a pretty mixed bag. “Last Man Standing” builds in intricate layers riding on a Balearic groove, if you’re into Lemon Jelly, you’re gonna love this. Meanwhile on the flip, the fantastically titled “Barry Can’t Do Flat Tops” , dips it’s toe in the dub basket, accompanied by ska induced horns & Spanish guitar. It’s not gonna be long before the advertisers & chill out compilers are knocking on Cities Of Foam’s doors.
