Two mixes to choose from on this broken beat gem, a tribute to an American TV show called “Boogie Bridge”, Soul Train for a new generation. The one you need to head for is Gerd’s 4Lux mix. You may know Gerd through his more eclectic solo work and album releases – “High, Wide and Wonderful” is a minor classic – but here he’s obviously been studying the works of Kaidi Tatham and Dego, rustling up some hip-grinding beats and plenty of bass power to drive Ms David’s singing along very nicely indeed.
