Strong guitar licks and a gruff male lead combine well on this rocker dancer that echoes in part of the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ seminal ‘By The Way’. No bad thing either. From the Killers’ school of grungy hooks and rockin’ riffs comes this strong contender as the next rock-dance crossover. Guitars are at the fore and the house laced beats only add to fuel the excitement. Created by Chicago Crobar resident Steve Smooth, and production partner JJ Flores, who between them have retweaked hits (most notably in America) for Nelly Furtado, Santana and Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger, along with Aaron Smith’s UK smash ‘Dancin”. A perfect synergy of two genres underscored by an equally thumping 4/4 riff that really lets the rhythm roll.
