2007 Certainly has been a big year for Australian outfit Operator Please. First off their debut ‘Just A Song About Ping Pong’ went Top 20, then they went on tour supporting Arctic Monkeys, Maximo Park and The Kaiser Chiefs, as well as winning over the festival crowds throughout the summer. So as the year comes to a close Operator Please are releasing live favourite ‘Leave It Alone’, which has got indie disco anthem written all over it, complete with feel good strings, 4/4 driving beats and a big sing-a-long chorus. Hip electro popsters New Young Pony Club are first at the mixing desk, giving the Aussies a bit of a Joy Division beat. Mark E. Sugar winds up proceedings with his slighty bonkers ‘St Marks Mix’. Operator Please are putting the finishing touches to their debut albumÉWatch this space.
