The album version of “Transmission” has got to be Radio 4’s most commercial release to date, it’s not as shouty as you’d expect & it’s got a positively hooky chorus, riding on those all important basslines. Maybe this time round they’ll get some well deserved day time radio play. Soma’s Alex Smoke gives “Transmission” an electronic overhaul, while Mad Professor & Lee Scratch Perry take “Nation” deep into the dub chamber with their own unique brand of lunacy.
