Resolute folk jangling of guitars and pianos straining at the leash, desperate to head left instead of right, and Oly Ralfe keeping them in check with an offbeat foxtrot through an inside-out world checking geraniums, predicting hurricanes and spreading his wings like his bird of choice. ‘Moths’ follows, fractionally off-kilter in a plink-plonk of short, modern music box delicacy.
