Sisters Of Transistors is Graham Massey of 808 State fame on his new musical adventure. “The Don” is the debut release and comes on in a tub thumping electronic funk style, with girlie vocal chants of “People come on”, and layered synths that have got a sinister Yellow Magic Orchestra feel, giving off a gothic Tom Tom Club vibe and then some. Meanwhile Hot Chip turn “The Don” into an off kilter sea shanty that would even make Captain Pugwash look over his shoulder.
