I know very little about Telespazio – although Wikipedia does inform that it’s a space systems services company based in Rome. I suspect this bunch of electronica musicians aren’t one in the same, but on the strength of this release their name will shortly be added. This chunky slab of quirkiness reminds me of Manhead whose funk is equally as chewy and just as much fun. Telespazio employ tuneful and obscure reference points to their production while Arto Mwambe remix goes one step further adding a deeply trippy DJ Pierre-like vocal to open it up a whole new market – not least thanks to some retro chords and production values. Bliss.
