Finnish duo Pepe Deluxe are giving us a taste of their forthcoming third album ‘Spare Time Machine’, and if its along the lines of this single, then it’s gonna be a bit like a groovy happening. ‘The Mischief Of Cloud 6’ is rammed with 60’s influences, including first and foremost the classic musical ‘Sweet Charity’, with the odd psychedelic wig out thrown in for good measure, and a toothpaste smile lead vocal, all cleverly put together over fast and funky percussive rhythms.
