I think it’s a bit early in the year for this, because The Funky Lowlives have come up with the sound of the summer here. “Sail Into The Sun” comes over like Kruder & Dorfmeister, having an afternoon shindig on the river with The Beta Band, as lead harmonies ride a funky groove, while subtle effects & atmospherics buzz in the air. The chill out comps & resort bars are gonna be clambering over this. Pimms & skunk anyone? Nightmares On Wax & King Unique supply the remixes.
