The Orb
Vuja De
Liquid Sound

The Orb return to the fray with their take on the dubby & groovy side of spaced out culture. ‘Vuja De’ has got a certain late 80’s early 90’s classic Balearic feel about it, as Juliet Roberts’ vocals soar over slightly skanking rhythms, that bounce off sonic blasts and dodge snippets of dialogue, forming that overall on another planet Orb sound. Tim Bran of Dreadzone fame is first at the mixing desk with his new outfit Subsonar, taking ‘Vuja De’ on a proggy 4/4 route. Meanwhile The Infadels give Alex & Co a good electro techno going over with no holds barred. But it’s DJ Pathaan that comes out tops, adding a touch of mystery and bringing the Asian elements to the fore. Gaudi and Living City also deliver remixes. The UK’s leading hooligan astronauts are back in business.
