Sweden’s legendary composer Lundsten comes to record diggers attention again via the freaky electronics of his track long lost epic “Horrorscope”. Originally released in 1979, it’s like a fight between Can, ESG and Coldcut for studio time, punk-powered instrumental hip-hop before hip-hop even knew what it was. Phono Jack soothes the fizzing synths on a modern re-work, emphasising the boom-bap of the beats instead.. Inspired waywardness much deserving of wider attention.
