Taken from the blue-eyed songstresses’ ‘Goodbye Alice In Wonderland’ opus, the Texas-based artist’s sixth album is just as rocky as what’s gone before; little wonder with Rob Cavallo (Green Day) helping in the studio. But once more her label has pitched her at the club market, with a stellar package crowned with a gem of a remix from Stonebridge. Possibly his best since ‘Show Me Love’, the Swede has managed to translate pop-rock into a peaktime clubbing essential without trashing Jewel’s Joni Mitchell-esque soprano vocals in full. The equally chunky Lenny B mixes twinkle almost as bright.
