Those that forgot Valentine’s Day might just get themselves off the hook by giving the good form of Mr Hall, as ever doing his unfaltering best singing just above a breath-holding threshold while charming those enticed by twizzled softness. ‘Stay Faithful’ is brisker but as gently caressed; ‘In Between Jobs’ is the forthcoming LP and should be a winner.
