Another issue, another cover of Michael Jackson’s epochal Hammer-House-of-Horror-goes-to-the-Disco recording. I’ve given up counting just how many versions have appeared since the singer’s death, but they number bootlegs and re-fashions sporting the names Eric Prydz, Laidback Luke, Freemasons, All Stars, Dirty Funker, Nightcrawlers… and more. Yes, there’s been a lot; too many all be told. Now add to the list a man who’s never shy of a cover version, and Grey does a pretty respectful job too, and without the aid of a sampled vocal. Were it not for the aforementioned over saturation of an already crowded market place it could’ve been a different story.
