‘Black And Gold’ is the debut release for London based Sam Sparro. Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, then at the age of 10 Sam and his family moved to Pasadena in the U.S. where he learnt to sing gospel. Once Sam was old enough he packed his bags and headed straight for London, throwing himself into the capital’s nightlife big time. ‘Black And Gold’ is the start of a promising blue eyed soul career, taking influences from polished 80’s artists and shooting them through with a bit of today’s electro pop, bringing Terrence Trent Darby to mind. It’s already getting plenty of radio play and is set to be a hit.
