The SC stands for Starchaser, and fair play to the ballsy Italian for having the front to tackle the Pet Shop Boys swansong and still their biggest and best release, albeit almost 20 years ago to this very day that it hit the UK chart’s pinnacle position. Dino Lenny & Rob Aker Remix mash up the beats in egocentric fashion that will appeal to lovers of new school breaks, electro and ’80s nostalgia alike. The straighter house mixes aimed firmly at the commercial club market. Sacrilege or progress? Jury’s out still.
