It is no secret, that Swiss with Italian roots Mirco Caruso is on the rise, thanks to releases on key labels like Hive Audio, Go Deeva or 303Lovers. His new EP is the second release on 2Drop Records and is filled with two really groovy Tech House outings, that is able to hold up comparisons with the crème de la crème of the genre. ‘Just You & Me’ is a massive peaktime roller with spoken word phrases, massive drum programming and a huge break. ‘What I Want’ on the flip is a little bit more musical with vocal snippets and nice percussion, coupled with a rather heavy bass that kicks some ass on the floors. Recommended if you like your House techy!
