Pete Herbert’s heritage runs deep, someone who can always be relied upon to really do the damage with shiny synths. Seeing as winter is starting to disappear and we can dream about boat parties at Tisno, Balearic caves and rainy pub gardens where at least the vibe is great, here he is with a slab of perfectly timed summer dreaminess.
This is all about the original, where there’s an almost early Todd Terje vibe to the oscillating a gently developing groove which goes into full on modern italo territory. We’ve got a feeling this record is only going to get more and more potent as the mercury rises. Well in Pete la.
