‘Surrounded EP’ hails the 4th release for the very cool label Moonless Air label as German duo Piemont continue to woo us with their musical prowess. ‘Surrounded’ is an energetic slab of Tech House fabulously formed by busy, airy and intense synth lines which are pummelled by a dark bass undertow. ‘Sleepyhead’ on the other hand is the cutest House track I’ve heard in ages with its bouncy bass groove and happy synth stabs, its smile inducing and errr, fluffy… What’s not to love?!… oh go on then, give us a hug!
