The fourth single from Aalto, the ongoing collaboration between Paavo (Above & Beyond) and Miika (Super 8) might not be their best effort, it’s nevertheless a solid melodic trancer, nostalgic and anthemic with good chord progression. The second release on new sister imprint Anjunadeep comes courtesy of Hawk (Norwegian producer/DJ Hakon Lofthus). ‘Need For Cognition’ is bright dreamy progressive – kinda James Holden gone mainstream. On the flip Laurent Veronnez, one of Belgium’s most talented raver, does his deep, pumping thing under his Planisphere guise.
