Swiss producer Dan Welton makes his debut with a bassy space-chugger that aims to make the big room splash and pulls one off. It’s that girl going ‘I love you’ from the early 90s, injecting some Orby feel with the ‘Pulsating Brain’ bass line and using a familiar conga pattern. The record’s desirability is further enhanced courtesy of a Ross Couch remix. His House outing is tough with jazzy piano, sexy pads and twinkling Mayday-style stabs. His Bass Remix strips down, straps on a new bass-line and takes the heads-down early hours approach. These categories can be so difficult sometimes – this is good house music but its accessories lend the ‘Prog’ tag.
