This record is so tribal, it¹s main instrument is a digeridoo. Not since our leather trouser wearing prog days (just Grayson), have we seen such Antipodean antics showing their face on a house tune. However, things do mellow out considerably to form a dreamy pad led groover with fantastic live percussion throughout. Like a lot of DJ Chus¹s music, there¹s melody along with the marching and although a whole night of tunes like this might lack definition, having something like this to build towards can be a winner. Apple Jaxx head honcho takes over for the re-rub, showing once again he knows his drums, with a menacing take that evokes memories of Danny Tenaglia¹s drum infused peak hours at MWM Conference parties with that trademark, chugging drum patterns, white noise, smoke and atmosphere. Ahh.
