From Robbie Rivera’s extended musical family New York’s hot production duo release the first of several new promo tracks currently vying for your attention; check also ‘Push’ on Juicy Music. This follows on rather nicely from the bass-bin rattling ‘Shake It’ and ‘God’s Funk’ with a modern day twist on the theme started back in the ‘70s by the Moments & Whatnauts’ – a homage to the fairer sex. “Chinese, black, white, freaky… Latin, blonde, straight and curly hair” – they ain’t fussy. DJ Cedric Gervais’ acid-etched slice of electronica just one of a quartet on mixes to ruffle the feathers if not charm the g-strings off the ladeez.
