The world’s gone electro-mad and Satoshi Tomiie’s label is moving on from tribal-prog. The sound of insects caught in a deep trancey tornado (think Jean-Michel Jarre vs Nathan Fake), ‘Restore’ creates a solemn mood that’s definitely striking. Next track ‘Future’ doesn’t score much for originality (a total Booka Shade spin-off, the synth sounds and breaks, that instantly recognisable hi-hat shuffle), luckily the hook’s pretty convincing.
