The UK Shack Music label continues to deliver (after that quality release by Rocco) with another offering that’s best described as nothing short of class. The Manchester duo are no strangers to this page, and ‘Song Of The Siren’ is a rich deep and moody number made for tripped out sets, and chilled cocktail sessions alike. Hypnotic beyond belief – this cover of Ronnie Burrell’s Nugroove single from the late-‘80s is equally as emotive as the original with whispery vocals perfectly sitting juxtaposed to the multi-layers ambient techno backdrop.
