Meikle and McMillan have long proved themselves as reliable techno lords but here they’ve come up with something rather special. In a classic melodic Detroit vein, deep yet enthralling, ‘Azure’ instantly brings back memories of ‘Knights Of The Jaguar’ but with that certain spiritual ‘je ne sais quoi’ which made some of their early releases such as ‘Eterna’ so special.
