Helmut Dubnitzky is not only a great up and coming artist for himself, but his Brise label is one of the most consistent and promising imprints around when it comes to real House music with deep and techy elements. His new offering is a bit different from previous releases, but it’s a fantastic one. A youngster from Aachen/Germany called Right On makes his debut on the label after releasing on prolific labels like Gruuv, Sincopat or SayWhat. The EP is special because it’s far away from the odd so called Deep House release as you get hints of French House, some soulful, sometimes even funky keys coupled with solid drum programming and superb synths. The EP consist of four different tracks, the title track ‘Flacker’ and the huge ‘Sort Of Bye’ being my personal favourites. As the young man said this offering marks the end of a more quiet phase in his life, so we are courious what might follow! Well done!
