With his Drumcode imprint continuing to jettison sphincter-busting corkers on a regular basis, Adam has also set up Mad Eye to indulge his more personal flights, here unleashing a pummelling monster of Godzilla stiffie propertions. The title cut retains his relentless momentum, showing how much damage can be caused using just a juggernaut bass-drum bedrock and whooshy noises, taking no prisoners on a big system. The ten minute ‘Follow Your Eyes’ goes deeper and darker but is possibly even deadlier, jacking the bass and uncorking effective moaning sirens. ‘Miami’ dispenses with the beats to create an atmospheric slab of ambient mood music. ‘Dactyl’ worked a treat on this week’s radio show [on fnoob.com] and is already causing devastation in the clubs. There really is no stopping the bloke.
