The groove might be typically croaking and clattering but the end result is disquieting and ethereal. Remixes come from Ghostly International’s Jeff ‘Lusine’ McIlwain of the US, who ups tempo and adds another dimension of gentle electronic embroidery with the vocal further transformed into a moaning soul from below. Next Werk Discs’ Darren J Cunningham – aka Actress – steams in with a scratchy electro-funk fest of mad filth and chaos. Alex’s beautiful deep and minimal ‘Snider’ concludes another sublime set.
