Alloy Mental is none other than Ireland’s Phil Kieran, along with a guitarist & vocalist. The first fruit of this project, reminds me of the Balearic classic “Welcome To The Future Part 2” by Eskimos & Egypt, in that it’s as much peak time dance floor, as it is show stopper in the mosh pit. Phil Kieran has always been one to push the boundaries & “Alloy Mental” is no exception. This year’s first festival essential has well & truly arrived.
