Cheap’s Patrick Pulsinger and Trust’s own DJ Glow represent Vienna in fine style by aiming their formidable collective sights squarely at the dancefloor. ‘Floorwave’ is taut, springy and acid-flecked lashed in dark sonic hues somewhat recalling UR. ‘Plowing The Dark’ rides motoring bass pulses which allow all sorts of dissonance and electronic flickers to carry on overhead. Meanwhile, ‘Television Is Reality’ steers into an alien electro swamp where that might be Drexciya stomping away on the horizon. Two veteran masters at work taking no prisoners.
