Chris Liberator’s noisily consistent imprint ropes in Powertools honcho Ant for a major energy charge for which he, in turn, drags along new producer Mark Verso. The rusty analogue synth riffs are like radioactive tree-trunks crashing down on the thumping power-groove and even the old reliable sirens and popular ‘hold it now’ sample make a mayhem-stoking appearance. The flip charts a belting house-tinged direction for some gopher hard-on rummaging and comes up trumps – as does practically everything on this under-rated label.
