In a belting week for techno, this remix outing on D.A.V.E. The Drummer’s label powers its way in like a great white shark on cheap speed devouring a rack of large bottoms in a crowded swimming pool. Hydraulix 11 is the unwitting victim as, First, and song-and-hard-dance man Alex Calver mercilessly hotwire the groove into a thunderously pulsating Godzilla-fart bass juggernaut and fuck with the speeded-up vocal bite to incendiary effect, especially on the toupee-detonating drop. If that wasn’t enough, Eric Sneo, of Berlin’s Kiddaz FM wreaks havoc with a circuit-pummelling version which ups the electro-throb quoient and manages to shred Louie Walsh’s testicles in the drop. Fearsome tackle.
