Nothing to do with the last gang in town, but the massively-impressive Plus 8 artist debut of Neopolitan techno veteran Danilo Vigorito, who previously impressed round these parts with his fantastic remix of Pastime’s ‘Kriket’. ‘Prima’ builds with old school elements worked into the current stripped down sound topped with swishing effects before going off like a pressure cooker. ‘I Saw The Light’ plants Eastern-flavoured drone over percussive death rattle flickers. Continues Plus 8’s current glorious run [which started over 20 years ago].
