Label boss Stan teams up with Belgium’s Lowdown for nifty three-tracker. The title track is a 90s style tribal techno workout with a Reese/Slam-type burrowing bassline and stabby riffage. Chugs along ticklingly before the Voodooamt Remix, which hardens up the drums to attack mode and snarls the wobbly riff with raw rage. Devastating and evil. ‘Mr Bass’ again recalls the golden age of real progressive house when it was in the hands of such as Weatherall and Nasty. Varied, deftlymanouvred set.
