After appearing on Defected then Ostgut, Jerome debuts on Drumcode with four stripped but hauntingly-resonant boomers. The title cut sets up a sparse, dubbed-out tech-scape before ”Cowboys’ adds delayed vocal lines to the shadowy patter. ‘Rump’ unsurprisingly swells rectum-wards before ‘Scavenger’ gallops into the sunrise on a lighter note after this dark but exhilarating little journey.
