Jesper Dahlback
Moggl
H Productions

Cari Lekebusch’s H Productions follow his belting State Of The Art album with another of the country’s finest exports as Jesper Dahlback uncorks three simple but deadly realignments of the now traditional minimal style he helped pioneer. ‘Cvan’ is nearly ten minutes of throbbed-up propulsion focusing around a mutating kick-bass pulse and insidious percussive surgery, topped with eerie string slashes somewhat recalling ESG’s ‘UFO’. ‘Cripx’ goes darker and denser in the undergrowth, motoring through meteor showers of sirens and other sinister atmospherics. The [unfortunately] digital only title cut is a slow burning rattler peppered with richochet effects, all held together by weighty kick and upfront hihats. This is a volcanic time for Swedish techno.
