Ellen Alien’s label continues to impress as the on-a-roll Kiki sculpts pure atmosphere from the house mould. The clicking insect legs rhythm taps the upturned rectum of a light organ before evil creeps in via riff-of-doom. The track progresses organically as warmer riffs blow in recalling early 90s Eye-Q. Somehow it all makes sense. The flip’s ‘Sirius’ runs deeper, whirring and rumbling up a subterranean bowelesque terrain of its own.
