This is one of those oddball electronic classics that won’t lie down, first appearing last year on Soma offshoot Pnuma, then rearing like a ten-foot robo-stiffie on the man’s remarkable debut album A Picnic With The Hunters and now reactivated on the mothership label with new mixes. The original was a sultry electro-crawl, dark and decidedly nasty but incredibly sexy. Now it’s fondled by Ivan Smagghe, who adds a jawdropping extra dimension with a full-on techno stormer, bringing up the sex, adding a mindblowing white noise interlude, then does the same again on a submarine-blipped instrumental. Then happening new kid Massi DL takes another riveting departure employing a sonic trampoline on which bits of track are bounced into the ether. These join the classic Repeat Repeat [RIP] mix which appeared on the original twelve. Phwoar!
