Mexican jumping beans in the house as two of the country’s top DJ-producers loom out of the excellent Infradig label with a pair of deep scrotum-rattlers which recall the classic 90s Frankfurt techno sound riff-wise while establishing a deep, eerie resonance totally in tune with modern circuit gushings. ‘Sai’ is eerily glowing with radioactive warmth, shot with disembodied Japanese vocals and huge drop. Odd but great that something so spaced manages such a lovely vibe – again that Frankfurt knack for early morning anthems coming through. ‘Kozuga’ creates a perfectly-matched companion, propulsive but resonant with tripped-out textures. Something definitely happening in Mexico.
