A regular at the Mayday, Love Parade, I Love Techno events, Miss Djax is the alias of Saskia Slegers, the Dutch DJ who funded Djax records: a label that’s built itself a solid reputation in underground electronic music. The years have gone by but – as well as having remained one of the most famous female DJs – she’s still waving the flag for banging techno. The dirty acid of ‘Crack House’, the first release of her debut album released later this year, brings back memories of old school raves (141 BPM). On the flip ‘Twisted’ is a mean techno stomper (143).
