Another which slipped through the techno net recently so is already in the shops [if there are any left]. DJ3000 and his Motech imprint are currently on a roll merging ancient, worldwide music with spot-on future-techno to blinding effect. Eastern-flavoured melodies creep in over his trademark percussive surge, ebbing and flowing to beltingly uplifting effect. The flip’s ‘Bilingual Sines’ continues the bongo fury, bolstered by metallic riffage. It’s great to see a label with such strong ideals and trademark sound, helmed by a true believer.
