Formerly of acid outfit Complexx 303, German-based Stefan now pops up
London’s Sounderground with a sound which has already intoxicated such names
as Hawtin and Vath. The original sets his shadowy, intricate brand of
minimal on the table making every buzz and texture count. Strong remixes
come from Mikael Stavostrand in more sprightly mode, highlighting African
speech and conjuring a lowkey dreamy atmosphere. Then Contexxterrior’s Inxec
turns in a harder, more urgent clang.
