Dumb Unit honcho Jeremy casts his dark rod over his label and comes up trumps with an elastic lope riddled with sinister breathing and overall space-cake ambience. The flip’s ‘Licorice Pipe’ plants menacing textures, sonorous frequency manipulations and menacing textures over the underlying Earth’s core throb. Curiously, it reminds me of King Tubby.
